This microwave is the best mid-size I've seen or used by far. Heats evenly and fast. Does not make a lot of noise and is easy to open and close with a button. Only complaint is that in dimly lit areas or times of the day, it's hard to see the buttons. I'd still take it over others I've had.

This is an 1150 watt GE microwave oven that is easy to use. Heats thoroughly and thaws out, well, too. This is a brand new microwave oven for me and so far it is doing a very good job. Easy to clean and has lots of power and the food comes out very good.

We appreciate the offer to help us with obtaining a new microwave after our last GE microwave only lasted 15 months. This is a slightly different model so I hope it is improved from our old model of which we went through three of them in the last several years. Fingers crossed this one will last longer.

We special ordered this unit because we really liked our old GE microwave. It is very disappointing to not have the same quality in this new unit, as our old one had.
The cooking sensor does not work properly, everything is over cooked. We never had this problem with our last GE. Can not turn of the beeper off. When we use the bake potato button to cook potatoes, there are spots that are not thoroughly cooked. I am very disappointedin the quality of this new microwave.

I purchased an entire suite of GE appliances for my new home. We moved in April of 2020. There are only two adults in the house and was well taken care of. Still looked brand new. But in July 2021 just over a year of use it would no longer heat anything. Lights and turntable worked but no heating up. Took it back to store where I purchased it and was told to take it to the dump.. no good
So we have purchased a new GE to match our other GE appliances Which we love. Now will have to wait 45-60 days for a replacement.

The product is well made, easy to use, like the cook express and sensor cooking options, a very reasonable price for a 1.6 cu ft 1500 watt microwave. Runs so quiet and is very roomy for casseroles and cooks very fast. Had a GE before and very happy with it.

I like it but wish the directions were more complete. I'm not sure how to use some of the features, I don't know what all those lines going in a square mean. Also, product is very light and too easy to push around on the counter when opening & closing the oven door.

Pretty good microwave. The only faults we've found are that you have to push the numbers and cook methods on the key pad fairly hard for it to enter causing it to slide to the back of the counter. Being able to simply push one number and it automatically starts for that many minutes is a nice, fast function, but if you want to enter 20 seconds and you first push the 2, it starts cooking, and we just stay there and stop it after 20 seconds. Or, you can cancel and push cook, the amount of time to cook, then start. It would be nice if the cook, start and end/cancel buttons were bigger and/or a different color to visually stand out. Otherwise, it's a good size and cooks fine, if a bit faster/hot because of the increased wattage.

Microwave is generally very good. Easy to use. Works well. Only slight negative is that cook time on frozen items tends to be a few seconds longer than directions - even when directions are for lower wattage than this microwave.

After only 9 weeks, the microwave stopped working properly. Upon being plugged in, the microwave starts running. The only way to stop it is to unplug it.

The clock/display are very dim and difficult to read from more than five feet away, not like our prior GE microwave. I scheduled a service appointment and then I was called and told that model was not eligible for service and to bring it back to Lowes. Since I waited a month to get this one, I did not want to wait again. Not a good experience!

I basically only use this microwave to reheat foods. Heats much quicker and at a lower power setting than my 2005 Kenmore microwave 1200 Watt. Definitely have issues with the buttons and setting the microwave at a lower power setting. Must use too many buttons

Microwave brand new overheats, shuts off Exterior top right gets very hot after 3 minutes on high When i open the door to take out the food the thing billows steam I had a GE microwave for some 30 years during which time none of these things ever happened
