Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 970-674-0676 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Family Owned & Operated

Integrity + Service + Knowledge = Growth at Manweilers

If you live in Windsor or the surrounding communities, it’s not unheard of if you’ve heard about the family owned business that has occupied Main Street for over 75 years, Manweiler Appliance. This longstanding establishment specializes in appliance sales and repair in the Northern Colorado area. Manweiler’s prides themselves on the services and expertise in appliances that they provide. They sell, install and repair major appliances from top brands like: Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Maytag and Amana. Customers can expect a professional and personalized experience and can look forward to becoming a part of the family when choosing to do business at Manweiler’s.

Herb Manweiler was both a gifted retailer and a man of service. His first venture into retail began in the 1930’s when he opened a grocery store in this small town of Windsor. World War II came, and Herb selflessly went to serve in the US military as a German Translator. After completing his service, Herb came back home in 1946 to find that his grocery store had gone out of business. Ever resilient, Herb decided to get into the hardware and farming implement business to serve the growing farm community that Windsor had become. He opened Manweiler Hardware Company that same year. Herb, along with his wife Alma provided a steady hand of leadership at Manweiler Hardware, along with their three children, until the late 1980’s when he passed away. Alma took the reins and continued to operate the hardware store until she went on the join her late husband in the late 1990’s.

Charlie Manweiler, son of Herb and Alma, took ownership of the store and expanded into major appliances, with his sister Janice taking over the operation of the hardware store. Today, the store continues to rely on a close-knit group of employees. The team treats every customer like family from the time the enter the store. At Manweiler Appliance, a belief in the importance of treating all customers with fairness and respect, listening to their needs and standing beside them throughout the life of their appliance is paramount. The laid-back in-store experience is key in allowing customers to select the perfect appliance to fit their lifestyle. A reputation for honesty and integrity has helped Manweiler Appliance stand out from the competition, and today, the company is still family-owned and the fourth generation is already contributing to their success.

Owner Charlie Manweiler looked back on the successes of recent years, sharing, “First and foremost, we couldn’t do what we do here without the support of our community. We are blessed when we see return customers and legacy customers continue to walk through our doors year after year.” With the economic boom that has been going on in Colorado, Charlie shared his enthusiasm, saying, “We are excited to continue to provide for a steadily growing housing market, and we enjoy working with our contractors, old and new, to provide them with quality service and competitive pricing.”

With a growing and loyal customer base, growth of the business is inevitable. Manweiler Appliance has been able to make the changes needed to stay in front of their competition and keep up with current market trends. Fourth generation protégés and sisters, Stacy Manweiler and Christina Miller, contributes to Manweiler’s sales, marketing and operations efforts and hopes to continue to serve Northern Colorado for years to come. “For such a small company, we have been successful in knowing that we need to evolve, stay current, and implement new and creative ways to reach new customers.” The duo has also placed focus on the other facets of the appliance business, such as financing, extended warranties and service. “The more services we can offer, the more well rounded we are, the better we are.”
